In the village centre of Cortaccia on the Wine Road a sensory walk starts, which is completely dedicated to the topic of wine. The "Saltner Pratze", a wooden hand, shows the way, while a man-high grape made of brook stones marks the beginning of the Cortaccia Wine Trail. It leads among other things past the oldest vine of South Tyrol, which was planted in 1601.
Here, nature and wine lovers learn everything about the way from the grape to the noble drop: Did you know, for example, what a "Rasel" is? It is a seedling! 18 information boards along the way to Niclara explain exact work processes and more, clay amphorae let you sniff out the different types of wine. From Niclara (Entiklar) the path then leads back to Cortaccia (Kurtatsch). A resting spot invites visitors to pause for a while.
