Description
Once a year, people all over the world switch off the lights for an hour. Many thousands of cities also join in and cloak their most famous buildings in darkness. The aim is to set an example for environmental, sustainability and climate protection.
At 20:30 to 21:30 (international darkening) the Sparkasse building will be darkened. On Waltherplatz we will play music, there will be tea and buns, and several guest speakers from the province will be present. Candles will be distributed to the adults and the children can come with their lanterns so that together we can create a sea of lights on Walther square.
