The exhibition is an integral part of the project NOI DA VOI-WIR BEI EUCH-NEUS DA VO-US BY YOU, curated by Jahel Beer. The initiative aims to promote cultural dialogue and exchange in the field of art between different cities and nations, both locally and internationally. The opening event at 6 pm will be enhanced by a musical accompaniment by Laura Willeit.
Through this project, the artists have the opportunity to step outside their usual contexts and networks, reaching a wider audience.

The project's title is symbolic: it represents the key to fostering cooperation between cities, countries, territories, and diverse artistic communities, creating a bridge that unites cultures and traditions. In this way, the initiative offers artists the opportunity to engage with new contexts through various art forms, fostering an environment of mutual growth and cultural exchange.

The exhibition's title, INTRECIADES-INTRECCIATE-VERFLOCHTEN, is reflected in the poster image, where both the dress and the hairstyle evoke traditions that, although belonging to the past, are still practised by young women today during folk festivals. The braided hair, a central symbol, also represents the idea that the exhibition is an interweaving of languages, cultures, stories, and traditions, a place where the artists, who create unique works in their valleys, move into new spaces through the Noi da voi project.

The exhibition also coincides with International Women's Day on 8 March, a date that will be celebrated to acknowledge both the occasion and the artists' contributions. Although the female figure has always been a protagonist and muse in artistic works, few women have received proper recognition in the art world, a field historically dominated almost exclusively by men.
