Trento Film Festival 2024 in Bolzano

From 3 to 8 June, meetings, workshops for schools and families, exhibitions and events dedicated to the younger audience to tell the many faces of the ‘highlands’.

The 72nd edition of the Trento Film Festival in Bolzano is realised with the contribution of the Municipality of Bolzano and the support of the Culture Office. We would also like to thank the Offices for Permanent Education, Libraries, Audiovisual and Youth Policies of the Department of Italian Culture of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, CAI Bolzano and the UPAD Foundation for their collaboration.

In the historic setting of the Capuchin Park there will be numerous activities and workshops of the T4Future section, dedicated to children and the future of the Planet, conceived in collaboration with the UPAD Foundation. The Park will also host special moments dedicated to the host country of the 72nd edition of the Festival with the exhibition IRELAND ON THE SMALL AND BIG SCREEN and events with traditional music and dances.
The Auction Hall of Palazzo Mercantile will host MontagnaLibri, the international exhibition of mountain publishing: guides, manuals, studies, photographic books, reportage, diaries, literary works and biographies. MontagnaLibri Kids, the adventurous and colourful section of books dedicated to children, will be hosted at the Sandro Amadori Library of the Circolo Culturale Don Bosco.
The Centro Trevi - TreviLab will be the venue for meetings and discussions on the topics of sustainability, climate change and accessibility in the cultural sphere.
At the FilmClub Bolzano - Capitol the cinema will return with screenings of films from the edition and the Nuova Libreria Cappelli will host literary presentations as part of the 1 Anno di Corsa event, an event designed to celebrate the first year of the new bookstore.
