Description
They are the winners of the Niederstätter surPrize 2022 and are now coming back to Bolzano with their multilingual music show in a class of its own!
The two virtuosos Kordian Heretynski and Pierre-Damien Fitzner had decided to leave the ranks of the classical orchestras and try their luck with their own piano and violin concerto on the streets of France and elsewhere. With their appearance as conservatory musicians, the task was not an easy one, especially as nothing seemed to go as planned. But they hadn't reckoned on their irrepressible will to offer what they do best: using their awkwardness with bravura and panache to bounce off a score that they reinvent as the performance progresses.
The polymorphous vocalist and violinist Heretynski and the pianist Fitzner now transport us into their very own musical universes. They dare to spice up the great classical works with colourful ingredients.
A pinch of AC/DC, a touch of Stevie Wonder, some Elvis and a bit of Rolling Stones. Everything is mixed well in the music wok and served with a Bach/Tchaikovsky sauce. The result is Wok 'n Woll - which blows everyone away!
A melodic, hilarious cartoon where the absurdity can only be topped by the virtuosity. Breathtaking, humorous, crazy!
