Christmas in Caldaro

Charming little wooden stalls line the decorated market square of Caldaro, Christmas music fills the air, and twinkling lights illuminate the wine village. On the Advent weekends, the small Christmas market invites you to stroll and soak in the festive atmosphere. A grand fir tree, adorned with stars and lights, stands proudly in the market square. On the village fountain, burning candles form a glowing circle, and throughout the village, decorated Christmas trees enhance the festive ambiance.

Younger visitors can enjoy pony rides and horse-drawn carriage trips through the Christmassy village. Special highlights include the Krampus mask exhibition in the former prison, Le Carceri, now an art gallery, and Christmas concerts in the parish church.
