Bolzano’s cable cars

Two cable cars which are operating the whole year round start from the outskirts of Bolzano. They are a popular alternative for the inhabitants to avoid the daily ride on the winding mountain road, and as a way of transport to discover the surroundings of Bolzano easily and comfortably: The Renon High Plateau and the mountain hamlet of Colle invite to beautiful trips surrounded by nature!

The San Genesio Cable Car finally stopped operating on November 22nd 2020, a new construction of the facility with a tailor-made mobility concept is being planned.
