For more than 30 years, the "Caldaro Days" have offered a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the approaching end of summer in an atmospheric setting and with the best wines of the current vintage. "A whole village is tasted" is the motto of the event, which brings together numerous wine lovers and producers every year. The cellar cooperative of Caldaro, the winegrowers and private wineries present their best white, rosé and red wines on two evenings at the beginning of September, a total of about 150.

On the central Market Square there are many small tents with ruby roofs: In most of them the excellent Caldaro wines are served in fine glasses, while Caldaro's farmers' wives offer culinary delicacies such as the popular "Apfelkiachln" or good South Tyrolean bacon and cheese. But that's not all: Depending on the edition, the supporting programme also includes the combination "Wine & Film", a vineyard hike or a guided tour through the South Tyrolean Wine Museum.
