Enjoying Caldaro wines in an elegant ambience is made possible by the "Caldaro Wine Party", which is celebrated every year in May. The winecenter, a modern monolithic annex to the Caldaro Winery, which was built in 1911, provides the appropriate ambience for this event. During the day, the winecenter houses a wine store with an exquisite selection of Caldaro wines and South Tyrolean specialities, while in the evening it becomes a venue for cultural events and celebrations, such as the popular "Caldaro Wine Party" (Kalterer Wineparty, in German).

The always well-attended party is also held in the inner courtyard. At this season-opening, which was brought to life by the Caldaro initiative wein.kaltern, a toast is made to the upcoming summer season at the warmest bathing lake in the Alps and to a good wine year. There will be dancing, eating, drinking and laughing. The participating wine producers offer around 40 of their best sparkling, white and red wines and at late hours DJ music is played.
