On a Saturday at the end of October, the traffic-free village alley in Termeno becomes the stage for the top wines of the village. Then the "Termeno Wine Lane" (Traminer Weingassl, in German) takes place, a festival where the excellent wines can be tasted in specially created wine glasses. But that's not all, in the afternoon until midnight there is music, folklore performances and typical autumnal delicacies, Speck, homemade Krapfen and roasted chestnuts on the programme.
In addition to Lagrein and Pinot Noir, the selection of wines of course also includes the famous Gewürztraminer, which made the name of the village famous worldwide. Did you know that the "Hoamet Tramin Museum" has a historical collection of Gewürztraminer? They simply belong to the history of the village. By the way: A free shuttle service brings visitors from Caldaro, San Giuseppe al Lago and Cortaccia to the festival. In case of rain, the event takes place on the fairground.
