Cornaiano benefits from its sun-spoilt location on a plateau at an altitude of 435 m a.s.l
The Parish Church of Cornaiano is located at the little, idyllic market square dedicated to S. Martin of Tours. For this reason also November 11 is a festive day in the village, as this is the day when the patron saint is celebrated in a village fair, often marking also the end of the harvest period.
The last grape carriage, carried on an afternoon in October, has become a real traditional ceremony, in which customs are revived. Every four years, there is also the Wine cellar festival. A proverb says that the world under the ground in Cornaiano is vaster than the one above. If you want to convince yourselves, come and see at the beginning of September.
