The hamlet of Hofstatt is located at 600 m a.s.l. above Cortaccia, on a little road leading to Corona and Favogna, providing a great view on the vineyards of Cortaccia and the Bassa Atesina.
The village consists of few farms and buildings, surrounded by vineyards and fruit orchards. Directly above, there are the mixed forests of the Mendola mountain ridge, from where the Rio Breitenberg starts running by at the hamlet of Hofstatt, down to Cortaccia.
