Where the vineyards turn into apple orchards, at about 700 m a.s.l., the farms of Doladizza are located

Doladizza lies on the Dolomite Road, which connects the area of the South Tyrolean Wine Road with the Dolomite valleys. In former times the Val di Fiemme train ran along the northern slope of the Cislon mountain, while today this track is a popular mountain bike and hiking trail, taking past some impressive mountain farms.
In addition to the apple orchards, covering the plain areas around Doladizza, on the border of the village, there are also chestnut, plum, pear, walnut and several other fruit trees. Above Doladizza, there is also the ensemble Pausahof, at the beginning of the village of Fontanefredde, which in great parts belongs to the neighbouring municipality of Trodena.
