Located in the heart of a landscape that is mainly characterised by vineyards, Pinzano offers a great view on the Bassa Atesina, up to the mountains surrounding the town of Merano. The centre, established around Piazza Santo Stefano square, provides a magic atmosphere.

In the west of the village, there is one of the last preserved Saltner towers, from which the vineyards of the area used to be guarded. Above Pinzano, the “Glener Weg” trail passes under an impressive stone bridge and leads into the neighbouring village.
