Above Missiano in Appiano sulla Strada del Vino, surrounded by a forest on a small hill, sits Boymont Castle. Largely destroyed by fire in the 16th century, today the ruin has been consolidated and is one of the three destinations of the famous Appiano Castle Walk. Boymont Castle also offers a tavern inside its walls
