Back in the 17th century, the Renon was the place of refuge from the hot summer months for Bolzano’s high society. Every since then, the high plateau has continued to be the favourite summer resort for some of Bolzano’s well-off citizens, comfortably reachable by the Renon Train and the cable car, which was newly built some years ago
