Castelfeder, located between Ora, Egna and Montagna, is a place blessed by natural beauty and easily accessible. In 1977 it was declared a biotope. Small lakes, meadows with ancient oak trees and Mediterranean scrub characterise the landscape. Thousands of years of human presence also mark the hills of Castelfeder: The remaining ruins date back to the Neolithic age through to the Middle Ages and are the birthplace of countless legends
